Abstract:
To provide a bank reinforcement structure to prevent a bank from being broken through flood by a typhoon/local sever rain and tsunami upon an earthquake for an existing bank body.SOLUTION: A slop surface outside of a bank body 1 is constructed with first improvement soil 3 made by mixing sediment, slag, short fiber material, bentonite, and water, and a slop surface inside of the bank body 1 is constructed with second improvement soil 4 made by mixing sediment, slag, short fiber material, and water. This configuration allows a bank to be prevented from being broken through flood by a typhoon/local sever rain and tsunami upon an earthquake for an existing bank body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
