Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous use and the wrong use of an old bankbook, by renewing automatically the bankbook to issue a new bankbook and recording a specific code for renewal on the old bankbook when entry columns of the bankbook where transaction information should be recorded are filled up. CONSTITUTION:When a bankbook P is opened and is inserted from an insertion entrnce 3, this insertion is detected by a detector 12 to start a motor 15, and the bankbook P is carried through a part 4, and the account number on a magnetic stripe (f) is detected by a head 31, and a print page and printed lines are detected by a detector 50, and the bankbook P waits in a printing part 9. Data are collated by the communication with a CPU, and conditions accompanied with transactions are checked; and when these conditions are satisfied and the number of print lines is sufficient, data is printed in the printing part 9, and the bankbook P is returned to terminate transactions. However, when the number of print lines is deficient, data is printed in rest lines in the printing part 9, and the bankbook is returned to a stamping part 7, and the bankbook is marked with a stamp for renewal, and contents of the stripe (f) are rewritten, and the bankbook is returned to a holding part 5. The new bankbook P is transmitted from a part 63, and the balance is printed for every item in the printing part 9, and the magnetic stripe (f) is written, and the new bankbook is carried through the part 4 is ejected together with the old bankbook. Thus, the bussiness for issue of the new bankbook is rationalized.
