After one full revolution of the draw-in mechanism 5, transfer mechanisms 3, 4 and draw-in mechanism 5 operate similarly again. At this time, the banknote sent first and the banknote sent later are simultaneously transferred by the same distance, so that the both banknotes are overlapped in a slightly deflected state because the first banknote has been already transferred by the same distance. And the rear end is warped downward by the draw-in mechanism 5 along the guide 6. Thus, the banknotes are aligned in overlapped state having the end of each hanknote shifted by the same distance.
