Abstract:
To provide a banknote deposit/withdrawal device and a program that do not discharge a dirty banknote.SOLUTION: A banknote deposit/withdrawal device includes: an identification unit that identifies a denomination and a condition of a banknote; a storage unit that stores the banknote in a reusable manner according to its denomination; a temporary storage unit to which the banknote is transferred and temporarily stored; a deposit processing unit that transfers the deposited banknote through the identification unit to the storage unit; a memory unit that stores an identification result obtained from the identification unit in association with the order of identification; a read-out processing unit that determines a status of the banknote sequentially removed from the storage unit with reference to the memory unit at the time of withdrawal of the banknote; and a selective withdrawal unit that withdraws the banknote when the status of the banknote as determined by the read-out processing unit is in a predetermined state, and otherwise transfers and temporarily stores the banknote in the temporary storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
