Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper currency handling apparatus for performing payment of small bundle moneys and payment of unbundled moneys in parallel while reducing the size of the apparatus.SOLUTION: The paper currency handling apparatus includes: a setting section that sets a unit number of banded currencies and the number of un-banded paper currencies; a determination section that determines the front/rear side of paper currencies; a paper currency accumulation section that accumulates the paper currencies; a paper currency binding part for binding the paper currencies; a banded currency accumulation section for accumulating paper currencies to be banded by the paper currency binding part; a transport unit that pays out the banded currencies in the number of banded currencies as the unit number which is set by the setting section and total number of un-banded paper currencies which is set by the setting section from the paper currency accumulation section to the determination section; and a control unit that determines, with respect to each paper currency, a conveyance destination of the paper currencies from plural conveyance destination candidates including a paper currency inverting section and the bundled currencies accumulation section depending on whether or not the determination section determines that the front/rear side is in a first state and whether or not the number of the paper currencies transported to the banded currency accumulation section has reached the number of banded currencies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
