PURPOSE: To provide a bar code label fixation by which a bar code label can be easily mounted to and dismounted from a tube, the bar code label mounted on the tube is prevented from dropping off the tube inadvertently, and a fixing plug used for mounting the bar code label can be used repeatedly.

CONSTITUTION: A fixing plug 20 the outer peripheral surface of which is tapered to have a smaller diameter toward one end so as to be inserted into an end of a tube 10 is used. A bar code label 30 is fixed on the tube 10 by winding the bar code label 30 around the fixing plug 20, and pushing the one end of the fixing plug 20 into the tube 10 so that a bar code printing part 31 of the bar code label 30 is made to protrude out of the tube 10. If the fixing plug 20 is drawn out of the tube 10, the bar code label 30 is removed from the tube 10 without leaving any traces on the tube 10. The fixing plug 20 drawn out can be used repeately for fixation of the bar code label 30 onto other tubes 10.
