To provide a bar conveying device with which a bar is surely conveyed.

A chain conveyer 36 as the bar conveying device includes a gear 46, a disk 48 parallel to this gear 46, a rotating shaft 50 for pivotally supporting the gear 46 and the disk 48, a chain 54 which is put on the outer edge of this gear 46 and turns back, and a plate 62 which is situated on the outside of this chain 54 and on which the bar is loaded. In this chain conveyer 36, this plate 62 is situated on the inside of the outer edge of this disk 48 in the region where the locus of this plate 62 is a circular arc. Flaws are not caused on the bar by using this chain conveyer 36. The bar is surely conveyed to the next stage by using this chain conveyer 36.
