Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar field type constant velocity universal joint capable of restricting a load to be generated at an abutment point of a ball, an inner groove and an outer groove and having the same durability even in the case where rotating direction is different.
SOLUTION: This joint is provided with an inner race 10 having plural inner grooves 16, an outer race 11 having plural outer grooves 17, plural balls 12 arranged between the plural inner grooves 16 and the plural outer grooves 17, and a holder 13 for holding the plural balls 12. In this case, the curvature center D1 of the plural inner grooves 16 and the curvature center G2 of the plural outer grooves 17 are offset each other in both sides of the bisection surface C1, and the plural inner grooves 16 are spirally formed in the inner race 10, and the plural outer grooves 17 are spirally formed in the outer race 11. Both the adjacent inner grooves 16 are inclined in opposite directions, and both the adjacent outer grooves 17 are inclined in opposite directions.
