Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a bar material cutting device which can discharge pellets easily from between cutting edges after cutting so as to be able to manufacture a large number of pellets continuously while prolonging the service life of the cutting edges and manufacturing the dimensional accuracy and the appearance of the pellets at the cutting time.
CONSTITUTION: Plural cutting edges 51 are provided separably from each other with a bar material placed in between. In each cutting edge 51, a cutting groove 29 is formed at the tip part of a plate body, and discharge groove 52 wider than the cross section of the bar material are formed on both faces of the body, in proximity to the bottom part of the cutting groove 29.
