To provide a machine for cutting off thread which is safely and easily moved while slinging a suspension belt over a shoulder or the like.
The belt 11 (as the suspension belt) is mounted on a mount 71 on the rear end side 2a of a body 2 of the machine for cutting off thread and a mount 72 provided to the side on the rear end side 2a of the body 2 of the machine for cutting off thread on the other end 3b of a handle 3. A cutting means 17 of the machine 1 for cutting off thread faces the lower side (the direction opposite to the belt 11) when the machine 1 for cutting off thread is suspended by the belt 11. The materials of the belt 11 are not particularly limited. A function for adjusting the length and a metal fitting for locking both ends, which are not illustrated, are provided to a material made of leather, a canvass cloth or a chemical fiber cloth or the like which is normally used.
