To provide a bar material cutting machine measuring the length of a cutting member and also improving the working efficiency.
The machine 1 for cutting thread entirely is for cutting an entirely threaded bolt 16 with a cutting means 17. A gauge holding part 20, which holds a gauge 18 for length measurement slidably in the longitudinal direction, is provided near the cutting means 17 in parallel with the entirely threaded bolt 16 as a bar material to be cut in a body 2 of the machine for cutting thread entirely near the cutting means 17. The cutting length of the entirely threaded bolt 16 is confirmed by sliding the gauge 18 for length measurement when the entirely threaded bolt 16 is cut with the cutting means 17. It is so constituted that the whole length L1 of the gauge 18 for length measurement is shorter than the whole length L2 of the machine 1 for cutting thread entirely (in a region parallel to the gauge 18 for length measurement).
