Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a bar from an upper part of a bar reception part and take the bar out to the upper part.SOLUTION: A bar number measuring device 6 is provided on a position arranging to a bar processing machine in a longitudinal direction of the bar received by a bar reception part 5. To a device body 7 on the bar number measuring device 6, a bar number measuring part 10 is movably attached to a direction where the bar is arranged, and the bar number measuring part 10 is attached to a tip of an arm 11 freely going out and in from one side to the other side of a bar radial direction above the bar received by the bar reception part 5, and a support part 14 supporting the base end of the arm 11 at an outside of the bar reception part 5 at one side, is provided on the device body 7. The bar number measuring part 10 is an optical sensor 15 and includes an arithmetic device C for calculating the number of bars by receiving reflection light from the bar at the optical sensor 15. The arm 11 is formed of a long member in which a cross section second moment of a vertical direction is larger than that of a lateral direction.
