Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a bar carrying-out and carrying-in device capable of manually and semi-automatically performing the carrying-out and carrying-in of a short bar such as residual materials at ease.
CONSTITUTION: A bar storing device is provided with a shelf frame 7 having plural stages of pallet housing shelves 5 for housing pallets 3 having a plurality of bars placed thereon in such a manner as to be capable of being taken out and in; an elevator device 9 provided on one side of the shelf frame 7 in such a manner as to be longitudinally movable and having a traverser for taking out and taking in each pallet 3 from each pallet housing shelf 5; and a bar carrying-out and carrying-in device 25 capable of longitudinally reciprocating along a guide member 15 provided in the lower position of the elevator device 9. The elevator device 9 is constituted in such a manner that it is not vertically movable when the work holding part 21 of the bar carrying-out and carrying-in device 25 is situated above the elevator device 9.
