Abstract:
To provide a barcode reader capable of operating an external equipment as well as reading a barcode by being connected to the external equipment.
A read button 14 is depressed and a barcode reading part 10 reads a barcode. Meanwhile, a connector part 11 is connected to the external equipment to transmit not only the read barcode but also information converted based on the barcode. Further, the external equipment can be operated by using buttons 16a to d or the like.
