Abstract:

To provide a barcode scanner, rapidly and continuously scanning objects during scanning operation, and an image-based barcode scanning method.

The barcode scanner includes: a lens array for focusing an image, and an imaging device disposed relative to the lens array so that images located in different focal distances are incident on different parts of the lens array, and the images are focused on the imaging device.
