Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve the reduction of a wt. and the enhancement of response by providing a gear and a shaft for reversing rotation in a rotary part and providing the opening and closing detection means of an arm part and a log feed distance detection means.
CONSTITUTION: The gears 3 fixed to intermediate shafts are meshed with the fixed gears 1 of three arm parts 2 and the gears 7 fixed to a shaft 9 are meshed with the gears 3. The arm parts 21 are rotated by the rotation of a rotary part 21 and the gears 7 are rotated by a transmission means to rotate the shafts 9 and cutter parts 19 are rotated through chains to peel the bark of a log. The intermediate shafts and the gears 3 are arranged on the side of the rotary part 21 and the arm parts 2 are decreased in wt. A control means detecting the closed state of three arm parts as abnormality on the basis of the signal of the opening and closing detection means detecting the opening and closing the arm parts based on the distance change on the base end side of the arm parts and the signal of a log feed distance detection means is provided to accelerate the response of the arm parts 2.
