Title:
IMAGE PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3210031
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous judgement by judging the degree of similarity to a specified image at every prescribed area of an input image.
CONSTITUTION: An image signal is obtained from a CCD color sensor 101 through an analog amplifier 102 and an A/D converter 103, and a shading correction circuit 104 is provided to correct the dispersion of brightness according to the read position of this image signal. In this case, a color space matching judgement circuit 106 calculates the degree of similarity for the distribution of a three-dimensional color space between read image data and a specified original such as a paper money or a negotiable instrument paper, for example, at real time. Then, the distortion of brightness or color depending on the position of the original is corrected by using chrominance signal after shading correction, and the degree of similarity in the color space is exactly judged regardless of a position where the input original is placed. Further, a print signal generation circuit 105 converts input chrominance signals R, G and B to Y, M, C and BK signals.
