Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a lid for covering an opening in a rotating barrel unnecessary and to improve the work efficiency by setting a fixed wall having holes at the outside of the lower part of the barrel so as to prevent the dropping of articles to be plated from the opening for putting the articles in the barrel and taking out them. CONSTITUTION:A barrel 2 having an opening 5 in the peripheral wall is placed horizontally and rotatably. A fixed wall 6 having many holes 8 along the peripheral surface of the barrel 2 is set at the outside of the lower part of the barrel 2. The opening 5 in the barrel 2 is blocked up with the wall 6, so the dropping of the contents (articles to be plated) is prevented. When the barrel plating apparatus is used, a lid for covering the opening 5 is made unnecessary, and the work efficiency is improved.
