To provide a barrier film having transparency, excellent in barrier properties preventing the permeation of oxygen gas, steam or the like and post-processability such as printability, laminating processability, bag making processability or the like and also suitably used for an electronic oven, and a laminated material using the same.

The barrier film is obtained by providing a continuous film comprising an inorganic oxide on one surface of a base material film and further providing a vapor-deposited polymer film on the continuous film. The laminated material using the same is also disclosed.
