To carry a plate cylinder requiring least labor and to transfer the plate cylinder under a stable state to a carriage for a plate cylinder assembly.
A barrow for carrying a cylindrical plate cylinder has a spindle- inserting hole formed by providing an inward flange part at the end. Wheels 8 are juxtaposed with the lower end of a frame 5 in the width direction. Plate cylinder supporting parts 9a, 9b having a curved abutting face to the plate cylinder are provided and juxtaposed to and with the upper part and the lower part of a frame 5 surface side at spaced intervals between the plate cylinder and the frame 5. In addition, wheels 11-equipped supporting leg parts 10 with height for grounding the frame 5 under a declined state are juxtaposed with the lower part of the frame 5 rear side in the width direction of the frame 5. Supporting leg parts 12 having height equal to that of the wheels-equipped supporting leg parts 10 at the lower part are provided at the upper part of the frame 5. A suspending and supporting means 14 locked with the flange part of the plate cylinder 1 is also provided at the upper part of the frame 5.
