Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the work for changing the position of a bascule type table where the top board is placed to be facilitated.
SOLUTION: The table has a top board 8 mounted at the upper ends of right and left legs 1 in such a way as to be rotatable about a horizontal shaft 13 between a horizontal service position and a vertical storage position, and is provided with holding devices 18, 19, 20, 21 holding the top board 8 in the horizontal service position and the vertical storage position. In that case, the holding devices 18, 19, 20, 21 are designed to have an operating portion 21 placed in a position below and near the front side of the top board 8 and held by hand along with the front side of the top board 8, with the hand controlling the holding devices.
