PURPOSE: To obtain a resource-saving accessory base by arranging a material such as remained hand-knitting wool yarn in the form of a desired pattern on a substrate soluble in water or hot water, integrating the material to the substrate by sewing and dissolving the substrate from the resultant laminate.
CONSTITUTION: One or more kinds of remained hand-knitting color wool yarns are arranged in the form of a desired pattern on a substrate composed of a sheet soluble in water or hot water, e.g. a sheet composed mainly of a wood pulp/carboxymethyl cellulose or a sheet composed of a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol and its derivative. The yarn is fixed to the substrate with pins and quilted with a sewing machine to obtain an integrated fiber laminate. The objective accessory base having the desired pattern developed on the surface is produced by treating the laminate with water or hot water to dissolve the substrate and drying the product.
