Title:
BASE BAND SIGNAL PROCESSING UNIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3305560
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detection output through the use of a single circuit by conducting arithmetic operation and control in response to various modulation systems and detection systems in the base band signal processing unit and to manufacture a communication equipment efficiently through lots of mass- production of single ICs.
SOLUTION: A modulation signal at an IF band received by a base band signal processing unit is converted into a signal at a base frequency band by mixers 1, 2 and LPFs 4, 5. The signal is sampled by A/D converters 6, 7 and given to an arithmetic section 10 being a digital signal processing circuit with data delayed by shift registers 8, 9. A control section 11 decides the operation or non-operation of delay circuits depending on delay detection or synchronization detection, or designates a delay time of the delay detection and allows the arithmetic section 10 to designate selection of an arithmetic equipment in response to the modulation system and detection synchronizing signal and to designate calculation or the like to obtain base band signals I, Q. One and same IC is used to provide many functions for the configuration as above.
