Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide carrier device capable of easily maintaining a highly accurate condition that each clamping member is abutted on a base board and performing a high-speed operation in order to surely clamp the base board by means of each base board clamping member.
CONSTITUTION: Clamping members 26a and 26b for clamping a base board L/F are made to move linearly and thereby the highly accurate abutted condition thereof on the base board is maintained. An opening/closing means 45a for opening and closing the clamping members 26a and 26b is mounted on a base body part as a fixed side with respect to the clamping members 26a and 26b as a side movable in a base board carrying direction, thereby the weight and inertia of the movable part moving in the base board carrying direction including the clamping members 26a and 26b are reduced by the amount of this opening/closing means and a high-speed carrying of the base board can be realized.
