Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe press belt base fabric capable of exerting high bonding force between a resin layer and the shoe press belt base fabric by using a piled yarn as a constituent yarn of the shoe press belt base fabric and a shoe press belt using the shoe press belt base fabric.SOLUTION: A base fabric 2 is a shoe press belt base fabric 2 to be used as a base fabric layer 2 of a shoe press belt 1 and includes a warp 21 woven in a longitudinal direction and a weft 22 woven in a width direction D. The warp 21 includes a piled yarn 21A formed by twisting two monofilaments. The piled yarn 21A includes a first monofilament 211 and a second monofilament 215 having a smaller diameter than that of the first monofilament 211. Crimp is given to the first monofilament 211 by the second monofilament 215. In the shoe press belt 1, the shoe press belt base fabric 2 is used as the base fabric 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
