Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive silicone-coated base fabric having good slipperiness and scarcely causing environmental problems.
The base fabric for an air bag is prepared by coating the surface with a solventless type silicone. The air bag uses the base fabric. A lubricant and an inorganic compound are added to a coating agent or a fine uneven pattern is formed in a coated surface to improve the smoothness of the coated surface. The coefficient of dynamic friction of the mutual coated surfaces is regulated to ≤0.75 to provide preferable slippery developing characteristics.
