Abstract:
To provide a base fabric for foamed resin based-thermal insulation facings capable of getting a good adhesive bite on the surface (surface of the base fabric for facings) in contact with the foamed resin at the time of foamed resin-based thermal insulation material production, and having enhanced tear strength, so that there is no concern about web break in the foaming process of foamed resin or cracking or breakage during transportation or construction.SOLUTION: A base fabric for foamed resin-based thermal insulation facings of this invention is composed of a surface layer comprising glass fibers, cellulose fibers and binder fibers, a back layer comprising cellulose fibers and binder fibers, a resin composition comprising a pigment and a binder, which is smeared on the surface layer side, in which the surface layer contains undrawn polyethylene terephthalate fiber having a melting point of 200°C or higher, and the content ratio of the undrawn polyethylene terephthalate fiber having a melting point of 200°C or higher is 3% by mass or more and less than 30% by mass with respect to the total fibers of the surface layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
