To provide a base as a tool necessary for implementing a novel method, i.e., a vertically/horizontally tangled stringing method of a string, which is designed to reduce a burden of vibrations and shocks affecting the hand and arm due to the impact on hitting a ball.

In the horizontally/vertically tangled string method of the string, a racket frame 2 and a mount frame 3 are superposed and are fixed on a device for stringing. On the base, strings 1 are bent to be tangled each other while a protruding pin 6 is used as a supporting post in order to arrange the strings by tangling the strings like a network knitted in a zigzag manner. Consequently, the novel stringing method of horizontally/vertically tangled stringing of the strings is implemented.
