Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reproduce vibration-proof performance of a bass-isolated structure of a building employing an experiencing device using a model building.
SOLUTION: The device is used to visually confirm the vibration-proof performance of the base-isolated structure of the building. A base-isolated structure experiencing device 1 consists of a vibration reproducing device 2 which is capable of adjusting a vibration frequency, earthquake isolating members 31.31... mounted on the device 2, a building foundation model 30 which reproduces the foundation of the building mounted on the members 31.31..., a model building 4 which is mounted on the model 30 and engaging members 60 which transmit or do not transmit vibration of the device 2 to the model 30.
