PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolated structure in which a viscous body wall damper comprised of both a flat-type viscous body container and a viscous resistance plate immersed in a viscous body is placed in a seismic base-isolating layer. SOLUTION: A metal fixture 3 to be suspended at the upper side of a viscous resistance plate 1 is provided with a hole 4 for suspension in an out-of-plane direction, and a suspending device 6 with a horizontal part is inserted into the hole 4 for suspension. Then a plurality of upper fasteners A with both ends fixed to a metal fixture 5 are arranged, and the viscous resistance plate 1 is mounted to an upper-story structure. The lower end of a metal fixture 7 to be suspended at the lower side of a viscous body container 2 is brought into contact with the upper surface of a metal fixture 8, the metal fixture 7 to be supported is provided with a hole 9 for support in an out-of-plane direction, and a pressing device 10 with a horizontal part is inserted into a hole 9 for support. Then a plurality of lower fasteners B with both ends fixed to a receiving metal fixture 8 are arranged, and the viscous body container 2 is mounted to a lower-story structure.
