Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation device which support structures such as mechanical equipment or art crafts while isolating vibration from a base or fllor.
SOLUTION: Horizontal vibration is applied to lower supporting bodies 11, 21 from a base or floor by earthquake, etc. The lower supporting bodies 11, 21 reciprocate in respect to upper supporting bodies 12, 22 to which inertia of a substance of base isolation in X or Y direction by the rolling of wheels 13, 23. First arms 15, 25 and second arms 16, 26 are thus bent and extended together with twisting deformation of bushes 14, 24 made of elastomer with connection parts thereof through connection shafts 18, 28 being as joints. Vibration transmission is eliminated and damped to the base or floor to the substance of base isolation. Relative movement direction X of the lower supporting body 11 and the upper supporting body 12 of an upper movable supporting structural body 10 is set perpendicularly to relative movement direction Y of the lower supporting body 21 and the upper supporting body 22 in a lower movable supporting structural body 20.
