Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation floor having short and lightweight floor at a low cost as well as a short period of construction.
SOLUTION: A base isolation floor is so constituted that a frame 1 is placed on a floor slab 9 in a movable manner by fixing a plurality of ball bearings 5 to the frame 1. In that case, the frame 1 is formed of a square cylindrical pipe, a through-hole 1b is bored in the lower plate section la of the square cylindrical pipe, and it passes through the through-hole 1b to fix the ball bearings 5 to the upper plate section 1c.
