Title:
BASE ISOLATION LAMINATION RUBBER SUPPORTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10281198
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a base isolation lamination rubber support device to absorb a large amount of energy with high efficiency for a large scale earthquake, coping with microearthquake movement with a high sensitivity for a middle and small scale earthquake.

A gap part 13 is formed between the two end parts 9a of a support member 9 and a boundary part 12 between laminates 5 and 6 and a lock means 14 is arranged above the gap part 13. The lock means 14 is arranged such that a wedge-form lock member 16 is horizontally movable along a guide plate 15 and energized through the force of a spring 17. The tip of the lock member 16 always abut to the upper surface of the plate 18 of the boundary part 12 through the elastic force of the spring 17. A guide member 19 for buffering having a slope extending toward the central side of the laminate 6 is attached to the end part 9a of the support member 9. The gap part 13 between the tip of the guide member 19 and the boundary part 12 is formed in size large enough to allow fitting-in of the wedge-form lock member 16.
