Abstract:
To provide a base isolation structure capable of suppressing displacement regardless of a direction in which a superstructure and a substructure are relatively displaced.SOLUTION: A base isolation structure 20 includes: a substructure 12; a superstructure 14 arranged above the substructure 12; a laminated rubber 32 which is provided between the superstructure 14 and the substructure 12 and supports the superstructure 14 movably relative to the substructure 12 and with which a flange 36 is fixed; a slide plate 38 which is provided on the superstructure 14 or the substructure 12 and on which the flange 36 slides; and a stopper 40 which is mounted on the superstructure 14 or the substructure 12 where the slide plate 38 is provided, and surrounded by the flange 36, and abuts on the flange 36 to give horizontal deformation to the laminated rubber 32 when the superstructure 14 and the substructure 12 are relatively moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
