Abstract:
To provide a base material having a surface treatment layer having waterdrop removing properties, excellent in abrasion resistance, weatherability, boiling resistance and chemical resistance and holding these properties semipermanently.
In the base material having at least two surface treatment layers, the first layer being the outermost layer of the surface treatment layers is obtained by applying a composition (I) containing a predetermined organosilicon compound and the second layer being in contact with the inside of the first layer is obtained by applying a composition (II) containing a fluorine- containing reactive silane compound forming a surface of which the contact angle value to water is 100° or more.
