Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for a non-contact data carrier capable of improving the adhesion strength of front/back protection films by providing through holes in the base material for the non-contact data carrier to be a central layer and to provide the non-contact data carrier.
SOLUTION: This base material 11 for the non-contact data carrier is provided with an antenna formed in, at least, one surface side of a film base material and an IC chip 15 connected to the end part of the antenna. The film base material is characterized in having the through holes 18 for sticking the protection films 21 and 22 stacked on the front/back of the base material for the non-contact data carrier. The non-contact data carrier 10 is characterized in that the protection films are stacked covering the whole front back surfaces of the base material for the non-contact data carrier and, at least, parts of the front/rear protection films are stuck to each other via the through holes by fusion.
