Title:
BASE MEMBER FOR RIDGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3930679
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save time and labor for cutting the bottom of the leg portion of a channel-shaped base member section, which is used in place of clay, positioned in align with the shape of a pantile and also saves the labor for recovering chips when building a roof ridge.
SOLUTION: A section comprises two components 1A and 1B each consisting of an upper portion 2 and a leg portion 8 which are made by dividing a channel- shaped body with the section opened downward and longitudinally into two parts. The bottom of leg portions provided in a slit 10 group is formed in align with the shape of a pantile laid for roofing, one joint piece 5a from an upper portion of one component meets other joint piece 5b and protruded where the joint piece 5a from the upper part of the other component is overlapped. Because the bottom of the leg portion is formed in advance in align with the shape of the pantile, the labor for both the cutting and the recovery of chips can be saved.
