Abstract:
To provide a base member capable of suppressing leakage of a low-density gas from a part where a projection of the base member caused by melting loss of a die casting mold is removed.SOLUTION: A molten aluminum is injected into a cavity of a die casting mold from a first gate provided on the short side of a base member (casting). A convex part formed by the erosion around the first gate of the die casting die is removed by machining to be formed flat (pre-machining). The base member is immersed in a solution in which a water-soluble resin is dissolved, the resin is adhered to the base member by passing an electric current, and the base member is dried and thermally cured (electrodeposition). A part of the base member except the pre-processed part is machined (main machining).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
