PURPOSE: To certainly mount base paper for screen printing to a plate cylinder, by forming a display part in the vicinity of the end part on the side held to the plate cylinder of a printing apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: The distance from the first base paper display part 41a to the end edge of raw paper 10 on the downstream along a plate supply direction is set to L1 and is the same value to the distance L1 from the first main side display part 13a of an apparatus main body 1 to the setting hook 5 of a plate cylinder 2. Further, the distance from the second base sheet side display part 41b to the end edge is set to L2 and is the same value to the sitance L2 from the second main body side display part 13b to the setting hook 5. Therefore, when the raw paper 10 is inserted in the apparatus main body 1 from the raw paper supply port 11 thereof in an arrow direction B and the first raw paper display part 41 is allowed to coincide with the first main body side display part 13a and the second raw paper side display part 41b is allowed to coincide with the second main body side display part 13b, the base paper 10 certainly reaches the setting hook 5 at the downstream side end part thereof. Since the raw paper 10 is transparent or translucent, even when the main side display parts 13a, 13b are formed to the upper surface of a plate feed guide 12, the display parts 13a, 13b can be visually confirmed through the base paper 10.
