Title:
BASE ROD DEVICE FOR DISMANTLING STEEL TOWER, AND METHOD OF DISMANTLING STEEL TOWER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004003160
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a base rod device for efficiently dismantling a transmission steel tower, that is easily and removably attachable to the tower while requiring little space to install.

The base rod device 1 is mounted to a main pole T1 to dismantle a transmission steel tower T. The base rod device 1 has a boom 3 connected to a mounting bracket 2 used for the main pole T1, with the boom 3 fixed in place using a guide fitting 4. Using the boom 3, used materials such as the main poles T1 are hung down with a hanging wire 5. The guide fitting 4, with a bolt 17, tightens together a counter-base 16 that grips the boom 3 and a pressing plate 18. A spacer is fitted around the shank of the bolt 17 to widen the spacing between the counter-base 16 and the pressing plate 18 to guide the boom 3 in moving axially. Thus, once the upper main pole T1 is hung down by the base rod device 1, the boom 3, together with the mounting bracket 2, is moved to the adjoining lower main pole T2 therebelow, then the operation of removing the lower main pole T2 is carried out. These operations are repeated for the main poles T1 and T2 on four sides, whereby the transmission steel tower T is dismantled from its top.
