Abstract:
To provide a base station device for reducing, as far as possible, interference with a cell formed by another base station while maintaining a state where a handover of a mobile station is enabled from a higher-layer cell.
A base station 1 includes: an array antenna 10 for adjusting directivity; and a directivity control unit 17 for changing directivity of the array antenna so as to generate a wide-area sector B that covers an angle range wider than a narrow-area sector A, on condition that a predetermined event occurs with movement of a mobile station into the narrow-area sector A covered with the array antenna 10.
