To provide a base station for mobile object communication system with which the increase of cost is suppressed in a simple configuration and much more simultaneous connecting processes can be performed while keeping communication quality.
A base station 100 is provided with antennas 101-104 for transmission/reception and communicates with two hand sets to which different carrier waves are allocated at respective channels at a maximum. Reception parts 121-124 provided for each of antennas measures the reception levels of respective frequency components at the antennas 101-104 for each received slot. A discrimination part 131 discriminates the 1st antenna for applying the maximum reception level and the 2nd antenna following that concerning each frequency component. When the discriminated 1st antenna is equal, a selection part 132 transmits the frequency component at the lower maximum reception level from the 1st antenna and transmits the frequency component at the higher maximum reception level from the 2nd antenna through a correspondent transmission slot.
