Abstract:
To suppress throughput reduction in beam switching between base stations.SOLUTION: A base station includes an offset notification unit for notifying a wireless quality offset value to a terminal for switching from a first beam to a second beam on the basis of first wireless quality of the first beam which is pre-coded and transmitted by a first base station, second wireless quality of the second beam which is pre-coded and transmitted by a second base station, and a wireless quality offset value used for determination when switching from the first beam to the second beam. The base station further includes an offset update unit for increasing/decreasing the wireless quality offset value depending on whether wireless quality of the first and second base stations after beam switching due to the wireless quality offset value received from the terminal is greater than respective predetermined thresholds or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
