Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseball bat with which a flying distance of a struck ball can be greatly increased and with which the ball hitting sweet zone of the bat can be effectively increased.SOLUTION: The bat has a prescribed length, with the front end in the axial direction formed into a handle part which a user can grip, and with the rear end in the axial direction formed as a bat head end. A section between the handle part and the bat head end is a composite axial zone. The composite axial zone includes: a bat main shaft which is coaxial with the handle part and the bat head end; an elastic annular body which is annularly made in a manner covering the composite axial zone provided between the handle part and the bat head end and which is integrated by combining with the peripheral face of the composite axial zone; and a sleeve which is structured by cylindrically knitting or weaving the fiber bundle of a compound material arrayed with a prescribed angle, which is annularly made in a manner covering the elastic annular body, and which constitutes mesh-like repulsive elastic crosslink on the outer periphery of the bat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
