To provide a baseboard for a building scaffold having a surrounding part fixing struts together with a wedge member that is miniaturizable since the end of the wedge member for fixing does not largely extrude to the outside of the scaffold in the attached state.
In this baseboard for a building scaffold which is disposed, at the foot position, along the edge of a step 33 forming a part of the building scaffold, a baseboard body 4 is disposed between right and left struts 31a, 31b arranged at a predetermined interval, and engaged with the struts 31a, 31b by a wedge fixing part 7 and a hook 23 which are disposed on the light and left sides of the baseboard body 4. A part of the outer periphery of the strut 31b is surrounded by the surrounding part 13a of the wedge fixing part 7, and a wedge plate 8 is driven from the step 33 side. Since the wedge plate 8 is bent, the wedge plate does not largely project outward, and the pressing direction of the wedge plate 8 when the wedge plate is pressed against the surrounding part 13a is generally orthogonal to the straight line connecting the struts 31a, 31b.
