To provide a baseboard for preventing dust from adhering and depositing on the upper surface of the baseboard, and facilitating the construction.
The baseboard 1 is arranged on the lower end part of a wall face along a floor face 3. In the cross section where an upper end edge 4 of the baseboard 1 extends straight on the wall surface 2, the upper end edge 4 is formed into an acute angle, and a surface of the upper end edge 4 is formed to be an inclined face 5 inclined downward to the interior side. The upper end of the inclined face 5 is continuously formed from the wall face 2 without forming a step. According to the baseboard 1 thus structured, dust is prevented from adhering and depositing on the baseboard 1 because of the inclined face 5.
