Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of voltage current duty ratio of a first semiconductor switching element by impedance alteration of a magnetron regarding an electric power source for driving a magnetron of a high frequency heating apparatus employing the magnetron.
SOLUTION: The electric power source for driving a magnetron of this high frequency heating apparatus comprises a driving circuit 20 provided with a voltage detecting means 34 and the voltage detecting means 34 is constituted of a comparison means 36 to compare with the voltage of a smoothing capacitor 14 and a switching means 37 to switch standard values of a starting time and a steady operation time. The means 34 detects the impedance alteration of the magnetron, stops the high frequency heating apparatus, and prevents increase of voltage-current duty of a first semiconductor switching element.
