To provide a batch furnace which allows the atmospheric gas to come in uniform contact with all objects to be baked, for baking the objects well.
In the condition in which a hearth 3 is inserted into an opening part 2b to be set to a furnace body 2, a gas supply pipe 5 is inserted into a through hole of a lamination setter 4. A driving force of a drive motor 8 is transmitted to the gas supply pipe 5 through an output shaft 8A, a belt 12, a rotary member 11B, and a rotary joint 11. With this configuration, the gas supply pipe 5 is rotated. Further, the gas supply pipe 5, when degreasing/baking a ceramic molded body, receives the driving force of the drive motor 8 to rotate, and supplies the atmospheric gas supplied from a gas supply source to the ceramic molded body from a gas supply opening.
