To provide a batch type carbonization treatment apparatus which has not only improved treatment efficiency in comparison with known methods but also can perfectly sterilize and safely carbonize infectious wastes incapable of having been carbonized, although the principle of the carbonization treatment method is a conventional known carbonization treatment method.
This batch type carbonization treatment apparatus is characterized by comprising a heating heat source-producing chamber 1 in which a gas, or the like, is burnt to produce the heated gas having a desired temperature and has an exhaust flue 4 having a closing or opening gate 3 at a middle portion, a heating chamber 5 connected to the heat source-producing chamber 1 via a heating flue 7 having an opening or closing gate 6 at a middle position to supply the heated gas produced in the producing chamber 1 to the heating chamber 5, a carbonization chamber 8 received in the heating chamber 5 and having a stirring blade 9 therein, and a treating waste-charging port 12 and a carbonized product-discharging port 13 having opening or closing lids at the same positions of the heating chamber 5 and the carbonization chamber 8, respectively.
