To provide a batch type drying device capable of saving electric power by preventing drying processing to be excessively performed by terminating the drying processing to a work at proper timing.

This batch type drying device 10 includes a furnace body 12, a heater 22, a circulation fan 24, a work supporting unit 15, a load cell 20, and a CPU 50. The work supporting unit 15 is constituted to rotatably support the work, and has a rotary table 16 and a rotary drive section 18. The load cell 20 is disposed outside of the furnace body 12, and constituted to measure the total weight of the work supporting unit 15 including the work 14. The CPU 50 monitors a result of the measurement by the load cell 20 in the drying processing, stops motions of the heater 22, the circulation fan 24 and the rotary drive section 18 on the basis of the result of the measurement, and displays completion of the processing on a display section 66.
